It has been CRAZY busy in the Garner household the past week!! James has been having a lot of trouble with his knee so Monday he had an MRI taken so his doctor could see what was going on. Wednesday he was supposed to go to the doctor to get the results from the MRI but we had to cancel because Addy gave us a little scare. Before you start to worry Addy is totally fine!! Poor thing had a problem with MAJOR constipation and we almost had to take her to the ER. It was very scary at first because she woke up basically screaming and we couldn't get her to calm down, we then realized that her stomach was hard as a rock and sticking out. We got on the phone with P to C and we're told to take her to the ER! On the way there we got in touch with her GI doctor and they told us to go to their office instead. After examining her they ordered an X-Ray and sent us home (thank goodness for no hospital visit). We have been over loading her with Miralax to help make her feel better and it is DEFINITELY working!! So back to James…his doctor, Dr. Johnson called him over the phone to let him know that surgery was a must. Looks like next Friday, he will be undergoing ANOTHER knee surgery to fix some torn ligaments! Boooo!!! We both are hoping and praying for a fast and easy recovery!!

Last week Addy received a pair of arm slings from “Inside SMA” which is a website set up by the Gooden family. Nora’s mom, Jaime, makes the arm slings and they are awesome and of course Addy LOVES them (along with her Speech Therapist and OT)!!! These arm slings help with the fight against gravity and James and his dad made poles out of PVC pipe to hand them from. It’s so easy for her to play with her IPad now and color!!

Today James and I went on a house hunt with our realtor Gary. We looked at 6 houses and were exhausted afterwards!! We saw a few things that we liked but nothing that we couldn’t live without! We are desperately hoping for a bite on our house soon. It’s so frustrating to look at houses and want to move so badly but have little activity on your house. Hopefully soon somebody will fall in love with our house!!

Do you know anyone who needs the PERFECT starter home??

Super Bowl Sunday is always a fun day for us! For the past few years we have spent the day at James parents’ house with friends and family to watch the game. This year is extra special because we have a few new family friends joining us, Dock’s home (yay) AND Smokey and Tracy’s downstairs renovation is COMPLETE!!! A few months back they decided to do some major renovations downstairs. They moved Jeramie’s room (James old room) into the basement (added a wall so he wasn’t literally in the basement). Then they knocked down the wall that was separating their den and Jeramie’s room to make a HUGE den or better known as Smokey’s Man Cave! It is awesome and I know Tracy is glad to finally have her house back to normal (somewhat…it will be normal again once we move and have the dogs back).

We would also like to wish Lindsay a Happy belated Birthday!!  Her Birthday was Friday and lucky her she got to spend it in Pigeon Forge!!  Addy LOVES her Aunt Lindsay, as do James and I!  We hope you had a fantastic day!!!
