Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!  We had a great Christmas but boy was it busy!!  Christmas eve afternoon we went to James parents house to exchange presents.  Addy got a lot of neat toys (which Tracy refers to as "educational toys" but I think she's going to have a lot of fun playing with them whether it's during school, OT or just because.  James desperately wanted a cross bow but that didn't happen!  Instead he got lots of tools and a new tool chest to keep them all in!  I was so excited to see that I got a Cricut Expression 2...woo hoo!

Aquarium from Uncle Jeramie

she was so impressed with this...little did she know what she would be getting the next day!

After Christmas at Nana and Grandpa Smokey's we headed too James Grandparents church for the usual Kelley Family Dinner.  We had a great time eating dinner (and too many yummy desserts) and after presents we went home to prepare for Santa's arrival!

Two bedtime stories...a book about baby Jesus and The night before Christmas (usually Smokey reads this to her but he forgot his book)
Red Velvet cookies for Santa...somebody was VERY excited about Santa coming!

silly girl!!

I was really worried that Addy wouldn't sleep good Christmas night but she did GREAT!  She slept all through the night and we never heard one peep out of her...THANK GOODNESS!!  After we did her morning treatments it was time to open presents.  Apparently I was a very good girl this year because their were a lot of presents under the tree with my name on them (James informed me that Addy decided to break her piggy bank this year and spoil mommy)...hmmm!  Addy was so excited to see her Belle Princess Doll.  This doll is really neat...she talks, sings, reads, to you and has all her friends (Mrs. Tea Pot, Chip, Lumiere, her brush, the rose and a book)!  Her big present this year was her own fish tank!  She was SO EXCITED to see a purple fish tank with lots of neon "fishies" swimming around.  She loves it so much that for 2 days she refused to take a nap...wanted to lay in her bed and watch the "fishies"!

the present she made for James and I during school.  She was very excited about it...every time we asked if we could peek she would yell at us!  She even made the bag by tearing the paper to make the snowman's eyes, nose and mouth!

LOVE it!!
Her tiny handprint made into 5 snowmen! So cute...she was very proud of her work!

checking out her new Princess doll!

can you tell she loves her fish?

My new lamp that Addy and James made to go on my Cricut table!

Each side has it's own picture!

Once we left the house we headed to James Memaw house.  Addy ended up falling asleep (after an unsuccessful nap attempt at the house) so I said in the van with her while she napped.  James went in to visit with everyone!  After that stop we went to my Grandma's house were we stayed the rest of the day!  My Grandma always fixes a yummy Christmas dinner and then we exchange gifts with everyone.  This year James and I decided not to go to my parents house in the morning and to just exchange gifts down there. We had a great Christmas but I'm so glad we only have to do that once a year!!!
