The first weekend in February we went to Pigeon Forge with James parents, his Aunt and Uncle Donnie Way and Donna, and the Sinks! And of course we had a GREAT time! If you remember, last year we went to P.F. right before Christmas and knew then it would be a tradition!! We had decided that this years trip wouldn't be around Christmas (because we thought we would be going to Disney). SO we gave James dad the go ahead and he picked the cabin and booked it for February! He ended up booking it the same weekend as Lindsay's Birthday and it was fun relaxing in the cabin AND celebrating Lindsays Birthday!!!
Thursday Tracy, Addy, Lindsay, Aubrey and I drove down in the big van after I got off work. Addy and Aubrey were VERY excited about our girls trip! James and Randy drove down later that night and Smokey, Donnie Wayne and Donna went down earlier Thursday morning! When we got there Thursday evening we had no idea the adventure we were about to take attempting to get to the cabin. The name "Above and Beyond" should have been on our first clue! The cabin was in Wears Valley, the road we turned off of to get to the cabin was 8 miles from the main strip in P.F. then it was a 2.5 mile drive up and down the side of a mountain...oh and did I mention it was ALL GRAVEL? Yeah tons of fun! We decided Addy would not leave the cabin until Sunday morning when we left! By the time we got the van unpacked Thursday night it was time to get the girls in bed so not to much happened that night!
Friday the guys went on a zip line adventure while Lindsay, Addy and Aubrey stayed in the cabin! Once the guys got back Linday and I went grocery shopping...fun fun (we did make a stop in the Christmas store which was so neat). Friday night once the girls went to bed the 8 of us played a new game that was SO FUN! It's called Logo's and I definitely recommend it.

Saturday (Lindsays Birthday) we spent the morning and early afternoon at the cabin. Once James parents came back we left to do a little outlet shopping (we left Addy with him...remember 2.5 mile drive up and down the side of the mountain that was all gravel)? The weather was pretty yucky that day so we were hoping the outlets would be dead but we were wrong! The place was packed!!! We ended up eating dinner out in P.F. at a pizza restaurant called, Mellow Mushroom which was pretty good but also pretty $$$ ($80 for 2 pizzas, kids mean, 2 cokes and 2 beers)! Once we got back to the cabin Saturday night we celebrated Lindsays Birthday with cake and icecream (Aubrey and Addy decorated the yummy cake)! Saturday the Gooden's were suppose to come visit us (like they did last year) but james and I said there was no way we were going to ask them to come to the cabin since it was so far out. We have already decided to plan a get together at some point so Addy and Nora can see it each other.

Sunday morning we hit up Bass Pro Shop and then headed home for the Super Bowl party at James parents house! We were soooo tired by the time we got home that we just dropped everything and ran to James parents. Super Bowl party was super fun and they had a full house! And of course Addy had lots of fun playing with Aubrey and Mason!!
