Addy had lots of play dates this week with Mason and her BFF Aubrey! 

I have been keeping Mason some Tuesday's and Wednesday's until Steph finds a permanent sitter for Wednesday and I have loved spending extra time with Mason!  I have often wondered what it would be like to have another baby and boy am I getting a glimpse into the future!  A few people have told me I'm crazy for babysitting Mason but I've told them it's good practice for when James and I decide to have another, plus Addy loves the extra time playing with Mason!!   :)

Mason is starting to pick up Addy's bad habits and fought to stay awake the other day.  He finally fell asleep on Addy's arm which she thought was hilarious!!

Thursday Aubrey and Lindsay came over for a Play Date and we had LOTS of fun!!  Addy and I LOVE when we have play dates with Lindsay and Aubrey!!!  Addy ended up taking a nap through half of our play date which gave Linday, Aubrey and I lots of time to talk, play and make crafts!!!  :)

Sunday afternoon at Great Grandma's house!  She is wearing a dress that my Grandpa picked out for her before he passed away.  He made my mom drive all the way to Cracker Barrel in Christiansburg because the Roanoke store didn't have the right size.

Tuesday we finally got our Christmas tree (yeah I know only a week and a half before Christmas)!  We have never put our tree up this late but we've had  lots of things going on!  Addy's Birthday, put the house on the market (do you know anybody who needs a great starter home??) and went to Pigeon Forge for the weekend!  Addy loved playing with the lights and helping to decorate the tree.

One of Addy's favorite things to do is stand in her stander and watch it snow.  She did this a bunch last year since we received so much snow so naturally Thursday that was what she did for a while. 

Since we were all snowed in Thursday night Matt, Stephanie and Mason came over for dinner and to try out our newest Wii game "Just Dance 2"  aka our NEW favorite game!  We have the first one but the second one is MUCH better!!  The boys weren't crazy about playing but as soon as they started smiles were on both of their faces and Steph and I couldn't get the Wii remotes out of their hand.  Here is a video of James and Matt dancing to "Proud Mary"...enjoy!

James has been wanting to make and decorate Gingerbread cookies with Addy so Friday night was the night!  She had so much fun decorating the cookies and did a fantastic job!  We didn't have a Gingerbread Man cookie cutter so a tree had to do but they turned out very cute! 

I have started watching Mason on Tuesday's and Wednesday's for Matt and Stephanie and he started babbling the other day during Addy's OT session so I started to video him and then turned the camera on Addy because of her AWESOME arm movement!  Check it out!!!

Last weekend (December 9-12) we headed to Pigeon Forge, TN for a weekend getaway with some of our favorite people!!  We had a cabin full but had a BLAST and definitely didn't want to leave Sunday morning!  We all had so much fun hanging around the cabin because it had a pool table, air hockey machine, foosball table (HUGE hit with guys), Ms. Pac Man and many other Arcade games, hot tub, Sauna AND a MOVIE THEATER!!!  This cabin was seriously AMAZING!! 
Addy had so much fun playing with Aubrey and Mason and especially meeting her new friend Nora.  Nora's family lives in Knoxville and drove down Friday evening to have dinner and let the girls have their first play date!  James and I had a great time getting to know Nora's parents TJ and Jaime a little better and just be able to sit down and vent to another SMA parent.  Nora is 2 months younger then Addy and the similarities and differences between the two girls keep us parents talking for hours!  Addy's hands stay in a fist all the time while Nora's are open and unable to bend.  Addy's arms seem to be a little stronger then Nora's however Nora is able to talk.  Even Aubrey loved meeting Nora and wanted to lay on the floor with the two girls as they played and held hands. 
This weekend Aubrey started calling Addy "sissy" and it seriously melted my heart!  It was the sweetest thing and every time I heard it I wanted to cry.  Friday afternoon James, Addy, Randy, Lindsay, Aubrey, Christina, Dock and I went to the Aquarium and had a great time!  Addy loved looking at all the Aquariums and seeing the fish swim by her (don't forget the girl LOVES Finding Nemo)!  She ended up falling asleep while walking through the Shark/Fish Tank so she missed the Penguin Exhibit but Aubrey LOVED it!  After our trip to the Aquarium we met Matt, Stephanie and Mason for lunch at Mel's Diner in Pigeon Forge and then headed back to the Cabin to drop the kids and dad's off so the girls could go Grocery Shopping (Smokey, Tracy, Donnie Wayne and Donna went to Gatlinburg Friday to do lots of shopping)!  Friday evening was when Nora's family came to visit so we stayed in Friday night!
Saturday a bunch of us went shopping at Tanger Outlets..woo hoo and spend  LOTS of money!!  James and Matt stayed back at the cabin with Addy, Aubrey and Mason because it was too cold and windy to take them out.  They had a great afternoon playing and watching movies in the Movie Theater.  Saturday night after dinner we had a movie night in the Movie Theater and watched the Dark Knight. 
We had a GREAT time and we all are already talking about making this a yearly event!!  Can't wait until next year!!
